INDIA LOST THE NO.1 TEST RANKING : ENGLAND SNATCHED

India has maintained its first rank still 13th august 2011, the third Test against England, at Edgbaston in Birmingham. India beat South Africa by an innings and 58 runs against South Africa at the Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata, on Thursday 18th February 2010. With India winning the match it positions them on top of the ICC Test Championship ranking at the annual cut-off date of April 1.
England snatched away the No.1 Test ranking from India beating them by an innings and 242 run margins during the third Test. India suffered their third heaviest defeat in Tests on Saturday. The Indians were simply not prepared for the series; players broke down at crucial junctures; M.S. Dhoni didn't have the first choice team at his disposal; the Indians are playing too much cricket. This is not cricket. Just hit and run. No techniques, nor class in play. Indian team played for T-20 match like in all the three tests.

It’s simply pathetic. The Indian team lacks fighting spirit and it’s once more evident that they are home paper tigers. Unless India can find a few world quality fast bowlers, they will never have chance to become world No 1, actually they were not eligible for No1 rank. This series is an eye-opener for Indian cricket.
Agreed England has been the better team in this series and deserve their No.1 Ranking. England claimed the number-one ranking in the ICC Test Championship table for the first time in 32 years. The win also gave them  3-0 lead in the four-match Test series.
The exact reason of such worst test performance and the first test series defeat under Dhoni’s captaincy are Injury of the Indian Cricketers, Playing too much of Cricket, Batting failure of the Indian batsmen, Inconsistency of the Indian bowlers, Lack of co-ordination in the Indian team.

Nines cities initially submitted applications to host the 2012 Olympic Games. On 18th May 2004, the IOC Executive Board selected the five candidate Cities. The final decision on the host city for the Games of the XXX Olympiad was made by the full IOC membership during the 117th IOC Session in Singapore on 6 July 2005. London eventually triumphed by taking 54 votes from a possible 104. This gave London the majority that it needed to be elected as the host city for the 2012 games. Athletes from different nations will participate in the various games in the Summer Olympics 2012.  There are 204 (estimated) countries that are competing in Summer Olympics 2012.
