MISS WORLD 2011 : CELEBRATING 61 YEARS

The Miss World 2011, this fantastic event is taking place at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, United Kingdom, Final to take place on 6 November, 2011, Celebrating 61 year of Miss World. Miss World 2011 will feature women from around the world.

Miss World pageant is the oldest significant international beauty pageant made by Eric Morley in the United Kingdom in 1951. It is now headed by Julia Morley, Morley’s wife.  This mega event took place on the South Bank of the River Thames. The 61st Edition of Miss World 2011. The special event will feature winners from the past And present, and we will be re-living some of the special moments and star names that Have been a part of our 60 year history. These celebrations will take contestants across the United Kingdom in the run-up to the final, to be held in London on Sunday 6th November 2011.

 Alexandria Mills of the United States is the current Miss World. The Miss World 2011 Will be crowned by her. The winner gets to spend a year travelling to represent the Miss World Organization and its various causes.

London Marriott County Hall welcomes Miss World contestants in October and November after the hotel is awarded the title of The official “Home of Miss World” for 2011. The 120 Miss World contestants will stay

at the luxurious Marriott London County Hall alongside the London Eye and on the Opposite bank of the River Thames from the Houses of Parliament.  The contestants will Stay at this magnificent hotel from October 27 and will participate in many Fundraising events prior to the Miss World 2011 finals on November 6.
